Solgar Deglycyrrhised Licorice contains glycyrrhizin which is an active component of the licorice plant. The root of the Licorice plant has been used to make medicine for generations. This amazing plant may be used as a stomach ulcer treatment. It may also be used to treat and ease symptoms of various other digestive system complaints including heartburn, colic disease and ongoing inflammation of the lining of the stomach (chronic gastritis). Licorice can also be used to treat sore throats, bronchitis and infections caused by bacteria or viruses.
